Sharing Tools

Use the Share function in Plan Sharing to manage the sharing of data from specified REFLEX Tools with other IMDEXHUB-IQ™ customers.

To share tool data with another company (also using IMDEXHUB-IQ™), ensure to "Accept" the Share (either project or drillhole) from that company.

The difference between Share and Sharing is described as follows:

  1. A company (e.g. Resource Co) shares either a project or drillhole to another company (e.g. Drilling Co) who "Accepts" the share.
  2. Sharing establishes a connection for the company (Resource Co) that initiated the request.

This must be done prior to syncing from the tablet, otherwise the Resource Co will not receive the survey data.

  1. SYNC transmits the survey data to IMDEXHUB-IQ™ and then both companies can view the data.

 

To share IMDEXHUB-IQ™ tool data with a company using IMDEXHUB-IQ™:

  1. Navigate to the Plan menu
  2. Select Sharing
  3. In the Plan Sharing table, select the Project
  1. Click Share from the module toolbar

  1. From the Company dropdown list, select the company with which you wish to share the data

You cannot share tool data with a company you have not shared the Project with. See Plan Projects to see how to share a project.

  1. Click Add
  2. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each company on each tool

 

  1. Click Save

 

Historical tool data is not shared when you start sharing with another company.

Any new data for this project from the specified tool will be shared with the companies listed.

 

Stop Sharing Tool Data

To stop sharing IMDEXHUB-IQ™ tool data with another company through IMDEXHUB-IQ™:

  1. Navigate to the Plan menu
  2. Select Sharing
  3. In the Plan Sharing table, select the Project for which you wish to stop sharing tool data
  4. Click Share from the module toolbar

  1. Click Remove next to the company for which you wish to stop sharing tool data
  2. Click Save

Historical tool data that has already been shared with the other company remains in the other company's database.
